I am simultaneously a huge fan of the work of master John Carpenter and a man with a few huge Carpenter blind spots. I’m ashamed to admit I wasn’t even aware there was an Apocalypse Trilogy, which includes The Thing, Prince of Darkness, and In The Mouth of Madness. Luckily, thanks to this series, I’ll have the trilogy completed by the end of the month.
